‘The Poppy Enthusiast’. A full day hands on course covering all aspects of both the Papaver orientale & The Super Poppy. Inspection of the Plant Heritage collection & garden walk. Lecture, slide show, question time, lunch with a glass of wine, propagation & tea before departure are all laid on.

‘A Passion for Poppies’. The Story of the NCCPG collection of Papaver. Including the history, development and international hybridizers through the 1900’s.

‘All you need to know about Ponds.’ Covering all aspects of Ponds, and reviewing both good and bad design, A light hearted ‘You are the Judge’ section for your members to participate.

‘The Perennial Border through the season’. Dealing with design, what to expect from the perennials at different seasons of the year, and reviewing famous garden borders.

‘Cottage Gardening’. Dealing with the History of the Cottage Garden and how it came about. Design and plants for the Cottage garden & reviewing Cottage Gardens in both U.K. and America.

‘Propagation’ A practical demonstration of the propagation of garden plants. Members are welcome to bring plants for propagation and see how its done. (Protective sheeting required to cover tables, broom for floor and some one to help with clearing up afterwards required.)
